Urban Maloa Resilience Initiative Program Officer (Re-Ads)

Mercy Corps is seeking to hire one Urban Maloa Resilience Initiative Program Officer who will be responsible for being Mercy Corps’ front-line representative in the community. The Urban Resilience Initiative Program Officer main role is to implement program activities that contribute to building resilience capacities through landscape and ecosystem management, and socio-economic development in Dili. The Program Officer will ensure that all program activities are conducted according to the work plan to achieve the overall goal and objectives of the program.

Based in Dili, a Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work with stakeholders to get important work done. Previous experience in a disaster risk reduction role is a plus.
